Brother’s Brother Foundation does not collect personal information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily. All personal information that is obtained through this website, or any offline source, from donors or visitors is kept strictly confidential. We do not rent, sell, exchange, lend or lease our mailing lists or any other donor information. The personal information that we need to respond appropriately may include name, address, zip/postal codes, email address, interests and similar information. This information is available to Brother’s Brother Foundation and third-party service providers involved in the operation of this site. Brother’s Brother Foundation will not identify you as a donor in our print newsletter and other publications without your express authorization. Federal non-profit organization income tax returns may require your information unless you designate your donation as “anonymous” or otherwise instructs us in writing that you do not wish to be identified.

Personal information (such as names, email and postal addresses, phone numbers, and other preferences) is used only by authorized personnel on a strictly need to know basis. All credit card information is destroyed/deleted after the donation is processed unless it is required for ongoing periodic donations. Other contact information is confidentially stored for receipt, statistical and mailing (with permission) purposes only. Whether you provide us with your information via the site or in an offline manner, we require all third-party service providers to hold personal information in strict confidence. We may collect IP address from visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet; it tells us the domain name of each user to the Site, but not the actual email address. We may use IP addresses to help us diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. Our methods are the accepted industry standard for security protocols but no data transmission over the internet, is ever 100% secure. Additionally information could be disclosed in rare cases if we have reason to believe that disclosure of this information is necessary to contact and/or bring legal action against a person(s) who may be inflicting injury or interfering with Brother’s Brother Foundation rights, personnel, and property, BBF web site users or anyone who could be potentially be harmed by such activities, whether intended or not.

If you register on the Brother’s Brother Foundation Web Site, or make an online or offline donation and supply us with your email and/or postal address, you may receive periodic mailings or online communications from us with information about our current programs and activities around the world. If you do not wish to receive or would like to adjust the frequency and types of communications you receive from BBF, please let us know of your preferences by indicating the same when making your donation.
